“Indiscriminate displays of a signature mark or picture painted on structures where no permission has been given by the owner.”
Graffiti is chargeable under the Criminal Damage Act 1971, with new powers being given under the Anti- Social Behaviour Act 2003.
It has been proven, chronic graffiti can lead to an area becoming more run down, with a corresponding increase in crime and fear of crime. Untackled graffiti undermines faith in the services that authorities provide.
Until now the ‘SOLUTION’ has been to burn the paint off the structure, inevitably using harmful chemicals, high pressure or a mixture of both. Thus damaging the hard standing, be it stone work, wooden or metal, or the environment in which the chemicals are used. Most graffiti removal companies utilise brick acids or corrosive liquids to attempt cleaning programs.
H2O have developed an expertise in chemical free removal of Gum, Grime and Graffiti.
Using high temperature, of up to 150C, and low pressure we are able to cleanse the entire area, leaving no bacteria, no shadowing and no dips in most hard standing surfaces.

Always ask your provider if they do this and if they do, be very careful! Brick acid and similar products cause the pores of the brick to open and via capillary action suck in at least some of the pigment meaning that along with the burn marks that are often left behind you will get as much mess as when you started.
Graffiti removal is needed increasingly on buildings of all types, no longer limited to offices, shops and bus shelters, this vandalism is now appearing on churches, schools and hotels with alarming regularity. Stickers and posters are appearing on every lampost, phone box, cable box and grit bin(s), H2O can not only remove these with ease but your Project Manager can discuss the possibility of anti graffiti coatings to defend against future attacks.

Working with the general public requires planning, vigilance and top notch safety precautions.
After completing a risk assessment your H2O Team will follow a pre planned rota to minimise any disruption and where necessary will work throughout the night instead.
